It's another stunner of a system for sure - would it not just have been easier for the Govt. to ask CCIA how many calves each producer had age verified and cut the cheques accordingly? Why the need for receipts or application forms? The tag retailers are already notifying CCIA of your purchases and unless you have the tags registered to you you can't upload the age verification info. There would appear to be no need to cross check tag purchase with age verification proof.
