The Alberta Land Stewardship Act contains in Section 25 statements of interest. Once you read this section, you need to go back and find out the definition of "environment" listed at the beginning of the act. (see this def. below):
Funding to support conservation, environmental and agricultural values
{25 The Lieutenant Governor in Council is responsible for establishing, supporting or facilitating funding and cost-sharing initiatives, mechanisms and instruments to support or enhance any one or more of the following:
(a) conservation easements;
(b) conservation directives;
(c) instruments, including market-based instruments, designed or intended to support, encourage or enhance all or any of the following:
(i) the protection, conservation and enhancement of the environment;
(ii) the protection, conservation and enhancement of natural scenic or esthetic values;
(iii) the protection, conservation and enhancement of agricultural land or land for agricultural purposes.}
Here's the definition of environment for the purposes of this specific act:
{(j) “environment” means the components of the earth and includes
(i) air, land and water,
(ii) all layers of the atmosphere,
(iii) all organic and inorganic matter and living organisms, and
(iv) the interacting natural systems that include components referred to in subclauses (i) to (iii);}
I thought it was pretty funny that our Alberta Legislature thinks it can control "all the layers of the atmosphere"; but today, I zoned in on the next phrase which states the government can take actions under Sectin 25 to manage and enhance "all....living organisms".
This includes us humans; that's how it reads. If they can fund measures to "enhance" the environment, are wonder if they are involved with the recent (past few years) phenomena of weather modification visa "chem trails"? Particulate containing aluminum and barium (metals, sulfur, etc) sprayed in the atmosphere to in one way or another control, change/alter or halt a weather pattern.
Dr. David Keith of the Univ of Calgary is involved with this subject, called geo-engineering. He is partly funded by the Bill Gates Foundation, and admits to initiating a project in Alberta to see if such "chem trails" can be used to save us "living organisms" from global warming. He has not, however, admitted to how far they have gone to date, or how far they intend to take their little experiment in the future. But, true to form, our government has caught up with Legislation to regulate the whole process, and to invest our tax dollars in such irresponsible projects.
Just something for all us Living Organisms on Beef Production to think about, while we prepare to eat our GM salmon, pig and soon cows. Yummy!...(not)...
