    The silence is deafening!!

Three weeks since Sadie's verdict. Once again nobody is talking. I thought that some of our regulators might venture a new approach but it seems not. The lack of consultation and comment opportunity for ID tag traceability has been glaring all along. This latest silence is not the first.
To break the silence lets make sure there is a good discussion at ABP meetings this fall and maybe some more resolutions. Obviously we need to make our position known because we are not being asked.

Happy gathering, weaning, shipping, etc. to all. And good on the cattle feeders and ABP getting CCA check-off mandatory. HT

    Been busy with "grain Harvest".

Watching the Canadian Agriculture Review Tribunal for the next case

    COWARD VS CFIA

It is now 90 days and they haven't heard of their verdict as yet.

Wayne Coleman from Conquest has his tribunal hearing set for Nov 12 in Saskatoon. Fined under section 176 for tags missing on bison when arrived at Winkler Manitoba for slaughter.

Preparing him for his defence. 10.00 a.m. Sturdy Stone BLDG in Saskatoon.

CFIA is trying to have their witnesses not be present but testify via phone call. Tried the same with my case and totally disallowed that action.

Lots to learn from each other on how to become your own defence lawyers in this world.

Attending the Sask veterinary conference in Saskatoon today. Hugged your local vet "Happytrails"---good old friend. CFIA veterinarians were present and sat alone. The word is certainly out over this victory. Their cushy comfort zone has certainly been exposed.

    Back to harvest.
