I am considering attending the coarse they are offering in January in Edmonton. Who has taken this and how was it?

I have attended a short course, but not
the Ranching for Profit week. I would
like to attend. I was impressed with
Dave and his teaching style, and the
fact that you will be challenged. My
impression is that if you are easily
offended or don't want to think about
your operation in new ways then do not
attend. It is a good one stop ranching
school stop that covers all the stuff
you need to know from finance, to
operations, to grass, etc.

I have been there and done that twice actually. After the first time my wife wanted to go, so I went again a few years after the first time. You will be challenged to get out of your box and think of things differently. As well if you are already good with gross margins and numbers it will point out how to find the dead wood and if you are not you will learn what you need to do to get good at books.
The networking is excellent. I have life time friends from my 96 and 99 courses. You will not regret going over the long hall.
