As much as they try then can't ignore well managed and engaged land owner groups. You know that from Lavista, we have the Pekisko. Especially when working together with each other and add in a larger non regional out fit like CAEPLA we have a power that can't be ignored even by the ignorant.

There is supposed to be a meeting on November 22, 2010 in Camrose (probably the Norseman), where-in Bills 36 50 and others will be discussed. I will let you know more, when I know more.

If you want to change things, you have to start on the farm. Next time a landman comes to your door to negotiate a well-site.... etc... you have to tell them to go away!

Lawyer Keith Wilson will ALSO be speaking in Medicine Hat at the Medicine Hat Lodge on November 25, at 7 pm.

That's the Thursday after the Special Meeting of the Surface Rights Federation on Nov. 22 in Camrose.

This is an opportunity to get acquainted with these bills at the first meeting and then ask more pertinent questions/learn even more at the Medicine Hat meeting. Take a neighbor and let your voices be heard.

It is time, (long overdue) to put the MLAs feet to the fire on these property rights crushing bills.

Most, if not all of the MLAs, have not - do not - and will continue to NOT EVEN READ the bills before they vote them into law.

All of these bills are in my opinion, pushing AGENDA 21 - brought to us by the United Nations Council on behalf of the international corporations that want to have total control of food production, total control of utilities and maintain their total control of our politicians and governments.
