    Class action crusin Alberta

Mr. Pallett did another tour of duty in Alberta last weekend with stops in Flat Lake and Derwent. The Ag Services Board held their North East Zone meeting and invited him to present. Not only were they clapping, but pounding and stomping a bit after the speech as well. Passed a resolution, unanimously to support mediation of the case. The resolution will move forward and, I predict, will pass again after Cam speaks at the annual general meeting with 600 some odd delegates in January. These are mostly elected municipal government officials. Elected to Ag positions by rural voters.

Kinda like the ABP / CCA system. Sure will be nice when those elected cattle industry officials hear the speech at their AGM (praying LOL) and pound the tables in unison as well. A passed resolution by two powerful ag groups in Alberta could surely raise some awareness and eyebrows.

    Cheers
    Randy

Hay there loric.......... I hear through the g****vine that the resolutions are way down this year and there is lots of time to fill at the AGM. Maybe you can pull a few strings with Rich and the gang and fit in an extra speaker ---- just for your friends at Agriville.

Already a couple of APB delegates working on the case as we speak.

          Hi Randy

Hope you are doing well. I spoke with Rich this morning. I know he had a couple people bring this up, and seeing as the agenda has been set for the AGM (being 3 weeks away) it can't be changed this close. However, I know they are looking at it for the semi annual meeting.

          Hopefully this helps.

          Lori

Oh I think there is still hope Lori. As long as there is will from the powers that be; I think I know of a speaker who would step aside to allow room. A big tall lanky fellow.....

Just a heads up too - I won't be here for the semi annual meeting. I got married in April and somehow managed to get pregnant by May. I'll be on maternity leave from mid-February onward for a year.

Yes, congratulations from us too. We have a grandbaby due in the middle of February as well. So we get the fun without the sleeplessness. LOL

The government failed to act in a conscious manner.

They always do. I mean is there a document put together spelling out the issue in a little more detail? :-)

What I meant is, they always never act in a conscience manner.
