It is with GREAT sadness that I am informing the board of the passing of Derry Brownfield:

Wow. He will be very much missed. He was a great supporter of the family farm and Common Sense living.
His archived shows can be found at the radio station website:
http://www.gcnlive.com/programs/derryBrownfield/index.php
His own website www.derrybrownfield.com does not presently have his archives.
Any of you that are technologically advanced, should definitely take the time to download the archives from his show. At the very least, download the last couple years worth.
Derry and his many guests over the years are an invaluable wealth of information about agriculture, and how things in the world relate to agriculture.
Please say a prayer for his family and friends. If you never heard his show before, you don't know what you missed. Take the time to listen to some of the archived programs while you can. Like I said, even better, download them. The information on his show, in many cases, is not readily available ANYWHERE ELSE. His guests were grassroots people - they told their own personal stories, of battles with government bureaucracy, or corporate giants like Monsanto, etc.
