      Rkaiser interesting topic !
Why are you so upset and want to kick CCA rep out of your sale!

What is your problem again in opening
      a packing plant?
I truly feel in your thread against us cattleproducer who pay the little check off $1

YOU are talking about producer participating and looking for ownership and government research funding???
Canada Gold Beef had a well thought out plan ! did get tax payer money! read on ALMA PAY OUT .

Over 20 million dollars of share holders money went in to this high promoted Hormono Free beef going in to Euro country
Reading about loss of money no more killing cattle ! hope the sheep kill
will make up of the losses
Never seen better return in our beef and looks even higher time to come.
You requested a favor from CCA TO
what ? promoto your new beef product and opening of Balsac plant !
We wish YOU all the luck and support towards this hard and long road .

      keep us up to date

Is this not the plant Cor Van Ray and the Price
family (Sunterra) had money in? These boys
have the very deep pockets needed to run this
plant....and they walked away. My biggest
concern would be...where are you going to find
reems of cheap labour? Foreign workers would
be your only option for 90% of the plant. A meat
packing plant stuck in the middle of a rich area?
Also with beef prices so high timing is off. If it
was a steal of a deal NBI would have taken it
already. Remember NBI bought the big startup
hog plant at Barrhead? Today that huge building
is being used to build modular homes/shacks.

I don't mean to be an ass Randy I think your the
right person to do this but too many red flags
here. I would say ideally Spirit view and you
need to time share a plant together.

Not all great deals get landed, As much as I get
my way I also get the big bruises that come with
        trying your damnedest.

Thanks All farmer but I don't think you
ever heard me bitch about not having a
packing plant to work with... although
there are challenges I could not think of
a better bunch of guys to work through the
challenges with. I will let them worry
about operating it, as marketing and sales
is more than enough stress let alone
          running the thing

Yes sales are going steady and we do
have customers but for every gain we
make the commodity keeps nipping at the
heal and we have to figure out to take
prices up the next notch. The beef is
being well received in Europe but
weakness in the Euro keeps the buyers
whining that they will not be able to
afford it. Good thing we ship to
Switzerland the franc is strong. Long
story short its not an easy ride and
every thing has its challenges and so
                  onward and upward.
