    Stock Dog Clinics

Does anyone know of any stock dog clinics
that are held in Southern Alberta?

No I don't, however Alvin Kopp is south of here and does a fair bit of stock dog clinics, perhaps get a hold of him....website http://www.thatlldoranch.com/stockdogs.html
Also, if anyone has an older retired stock dog that would like to work about 3 hours a week, (kinda like me), I certainly would be interested. Do not have the time or ability to start a young animal. Can be contacted through http://www.evgelbvieh.com/

Thanks for the info. I have just got a
young dog which is so eager that tends to
      ignore me when give commands.

We had Blue Heelers that went deaf as soon as they started running, had to find a way to restore their hearing. Someone once said to me, you have to be smarter than the dog to train it... maybe that is why I never could. There is great value in a properly trained cattle dog. Now I just pick them for their personalities, don't need them otherwise. Good luck.
