I assume you are talking about the act to appoint a municipal auditor general?
Not sure if that is a good thing or not?
I realize the push behind it is the CFIB and their desire to "equalize" the taxes between residential taxes and business property taxes, even though that is not part of the proposed bill. I suspect the "equalization" would probably be an increse in residential and farmland taxes rather than a really great reduction in business property taxes.
Probably another tax grab by out of control municipalities!

Bill 202 defines grasslands and seems to be an enabling bill for ALSA to give government control of not just SRD but Special Area's and private grassland usage. Kind of an end around of the fact that deeded land and Special Area's are not owned by the government. Control is as good as ownership.
