Sold my last 6 bulls yesterday. The price has dropped a bit from last week and was especially ugly on the yearlings. Cows were down about 4 cents. Takes a pretty good cow to make 45 cents now. Old thin cows were down into the high thirties. Not much money. How can an auction mart sell 7000 head of cattle in one day, when the majority are small lots of cows? They must be selling until 4 AM?
I suppose we can soon expect a big mac to be around $1.50? Maybe we can get a steak sandwich for $5.00? Don't go hungry waiting for this to happen!
