    cow prices

    The price of cows went up about 5 cents this week. The reason: the fall of the Canadian dollar. The Americans have stepped into the market big time and cows are going south in a big way. Now if our dollar could just keep falling we might get this glut of cows cleaned up before they starve! Just hope our federal government doesn't start playing games with the looney!

    Not much chance of the Federal Government doing anything. They are too involved with their leadership issues to know what's going on in the country. Naturally, it would be appropriate for The Federal minister of Agriculture to make an appearance out West and give assurance to Western Farmers that the federal government will come their assistance soon.
