    cool decision from wto

I heard they have released a decision.

anyone heard what the wto is thinking?

    will it matter much?

My understanding is that WTO released an interim decision. But I am not 100% sure what it is. But a final report is expected to be released at the end of July. Depending on what is in the final report... it will determine how long it will take to resolve the issue. The possibility of an appeal(on either side) is high.

While I am interested to learn the outcome of this battle… I think we need to figure out how to market our beef to other emerging markets and become less reliant on the U.S. That’s why I 100% support Minister Ritz’s goal to gain and expand market access in other parts of the world. You can say what you want about Harper, but he and Ritz have been strong advocates for us folk in the beef cattle industry. #Harper2015

The countries involved in the trade dispute (Canada, Mexico and the U.S.) have received the report on the WTO’s ruling. But it remains confidential until it is released to the public later this summer/early fall.

This should be required reading on the Koolaid ranch.

            Never mind your #Harper2015 Try:

I support efforts to open non-American markets too, but brownie points for doing it won't be handed out by this cowgirl. Especially for just regaining markets lost in 2003 by government ineptitude. It's his job. He needs to just do it.

Brownie points will come when they are earned.
