I thought you might enjoy this one. Took 7 fats to the butcher to kill on Tuesday. Got the weights emailed to me today as usual except beside one weight there is "NT -please bring one"
So I guess my preloading inspection in the dark wasn't up to par but to be fair it's the first tag missing from the whole crop we tagged in the spring of '13.
I'm intrigued though why we would need a tag now given the heads came off on Tuesday morning - If it's just to throw in the "retired tags" bucket maybe a coyote chewed one that I recovered from the pasture off a calf that died this spring would suffice? Or maybe I should just throw $3 in the bucket instead?
