I know I'm relatively new here but I'm baffled by AB politics. You have a long governing party that is run by big oil, corrupt and with a sense of entitlement in everything they do. So a new opposition party comes into being to fight that, calling them out on the corruption and entitlement - now they turn around and join said governing party. Clearly the Wildrose were bought out by big oil.
What I don't get is that 85% of the population are more interested in Christmas shopping than democracy.
What needs to happen here is an NDP landslide at the next election - not that I'm an NDP supporter by any stretch of the imagination but can't the electorate see it's the only way to right a wrong, restore democracy and put an end to this gravy train of entitlement? How can an electorate be so apathetic and politically naive?
