    Cattle and Crawdads

My grandparents bought some roundbales and are feeding them to their cattle. But they have noticed there are crawdad remains (shells, pincher, ect...) in the hay. And they were wondering if the cows eat the hay with the remains will it cause any kind of side effects? If anyone knows anything about this please contact me. ASAP Thank You,

The bales could well be contaminated with Salmonella, botulism or other nasties from the crawdad remains, but then most bales probably have SOMETHING baled into them so you'll have to decide how much extra risk there is just because you can SEE it.
