Snow.....again!

I am thinking of joining an Indian band. My new name will be "He who plows snow"!
I got the local county newspaper yesterday (I only pick up my mail once a week) and reading the message from the mayor "Red Deer County, a great place to work, live and play"...I asked myself "really....is it"?
Snow up to my ass for half a year. Frost free for usually 3 months. This is a "great place"?
My sister told me well at least we don't have any earthquakes, or volcanos, or tzusamis....so I guess there is that, right? LOL

Started V cutting today. Maybe only cut 10 acres
though. 4' of snow plus birch and willow pushes
hard. Not much dust on the trees though. Going to
go easy days until the snow drops.

That must be tough slogging with 4 feet of snow? Is the ground froze real hard under all that snow?

Ground has some frost. Anywhere the ground is
uneven the cutter cuts it off and it rolls off in a
slab. Looks like I am cutting and plowing at the
same time in some places.

Just wondering.....after it is brushed and piled, do you break it with a heavy breaking plow? Years ago my Dad broke about 40 acres of willow. The cat brushed it in the winter and then they roto tilled it with a big heavy roto tiller pulled behind the cat. If I remember right, it was fairly costly?
