Minnimum Trace Mineral & Vitamin Levels

Can some one tell me what the minimum trace mineral and vitamin levels are for beef cows in Alberta.

I know it varies from region to region, but I am trying to do some comparisons on supplement products.

If you log on to www.agric.gov.ab.ca under publications, livestock, beef there are several publications that have tables of varying classes of beef cattle's requirements of nutrients and also suggested ranges of trace minerals to be found in trace mineral salt.

If you go under the cowbytes software demo and put in your class of animal (i.e. late preg cow 1200 lbs) it will tell you the amount of Vit A and E required by that class of animal. The program assumes that the animal is receiving no vit from the feed since vit A is degradable in sunlight, if you tested it at the beginning of the feeding period it would have decreased by the end of the feeding period.
