So you don't know much about the beef slaughter business either.

      Grasshopper.

Promotion for the guys we purchased from.

Their product is consistent, proven and they are very good family cattle people.
There product is in demand every year. There are only so many females per year. Home raised.

Thanks to another agriviller I have re-found photobucket and I will try to put Nov 11 2015 pics. The deal is done and I have my allotment home so now will show this.

2)You asked about my knowledge of the slaughter business. I don't intent to know it all like you do grasshopper. You BEAK at every post no matter what. My 20 years in Vet practice had me inspect two plants on kill days for the 20 years. But I know nothing, didn't like the slaughter end of business anyway.

Next post I hope are two pictures of what I believe are fancy heifers, quiet, F1 Red Angus bulls on Fleck Simmental cows.

      Here goes.

It wasn't a question it was a statement in reply to your comment that phenotype doesn't matter if you are in the slaughter beef business.
Did you ever inspect a Longhorn and a Limousin hanging up? Didn't you notice a difference between them?

Got to love the angus influence on the pictures, Simms would be nothing without them!

absolutely right. The angus red or Black clean up the Simm influence dramatically.

As we get older, we just don't have time for sorting out the second cuts.

                    Thankyou greybeard

Age and many years working behind the scenes at auction markets one wants to get out of that scene.

One can wear out many trucks going and looking for something better or maybe a better deal.

This is a predictable product that comes up each November of every Year.

Home raised most on range condition, not pushed. arrive at our farm with No Brand.

calving these heifers out has minimal problems but the calves have lots of punch so the first year calf crop produces a great group of calves.

Watched Westmans Sale on the Internet on Monday.

Pre-viewed Y COULEE sale on DLMS. What an impressive program they run.
