    Calf Puller

Good Morning all. We are in need of a new calf puller. We had a Dr Frank but a neighbour of ours has an HK Calf Puller/Saver made in Germany by Rheintechnik. They gave me an address to look in Edmonton but I was wondering if anyone out there knows any place in Saskatchewan that carries them. What kind of puller do you guys use, any comments would be appreciated. Thanks and happy calving to all.

I have a Vink calfpuller. I used to sell them and found them to be very strong and very easy to use. They are one piece so you do not have to worry about them pulling apart when you are trying to put them on. They are made in Denmark and distributed in Canada by E-Z Brush and Oiler in Ontario.

If you are interested in some more info call Grant Dunn in Ogema, Sk. 306 459 2515. He can tell you if you have a dealer close by.

I have a Survet that seemed to work very well. I switched breeds the year I purchased it, and haven't used it on my own herd, so can't be real sure of the quality and strength. It has a double acting hook-up for tight shoulders.
        I beleive I purchased it from Ram-Bull.
