Just wanted to say thank-you, countryguy . With this wicked weather we had last week a few cases of scours broke out. We tried your mixture of water, eggs, bleach and baking soda and are very impressed with the results. THANK YOU.

Glad it worked for you DB 75,however I cannot take credit for that recipe.I just wrote it down last winter when someone posted it so I would have it for the future.I believe the recipe came from Cowman if you remember him.If this was not Cowman's potion would the real creator step forward and take a bow?

Could you post this recipe as it sounds like it may be a good one.

it consists of :

2L of water
2 eggs
1T bleach
1T baking soda

whisk it all together and feed.

we had great results with this home remedy, hubby was scared to try it at first but we did and thats what we used for any sign of scour, along with a scour guard bolus. good luck plowjockie.
