Has anyone tried the new roast beef sandwich at Tim Hortons?

Wouldn't think of it...beef is probably imported from Uruguay. I don't trust any of these fastfood places sourcing Canadian produced beef. Bad enough that our cereals are mostly imported from the USA, when we produce the raw materials right here. I do support the products produced in Canada and especially Alberta.

Alberta beef is tops in my opinion...when you frequent the fast-food places, why not ask them where their beef comes from? Report back as to what they tell you.

We seldom eat beef when out and about. Have a steady diet of the worlds best beef 10 to 14 meals a week at home. Fish, chicken, pizza and pasta make up most of the going out meals. Good on Tim's for having a beef choice.

Would be nice if that beef was sold to Timmy's by a group of producers who owned it rather than an American Multinational company. Once again kudos to BIC for a "promotion" job well done. Just think how proud they will be when they make their first promotional contact for Canada Gold Beef.

Could be mistaken (wouldn't be the first time since supper) but I believe Timmy's is getting their beef from Gencor in Ontario. Wendy's is also getting a lot of beef from them.
