    media pictures

there is one thing common around this story. There have been many visual pictures and verbal pictures painted through the media. I ask that every clearly evlauate why the media is telling us this particular story from a particular angle. Nothing personal with these people but in the rush to be first with any story or new angle sometimes facts don't get checked or verified before they are reported. Television news will often pull what ever film footage they have in the their vault and it may not have anything to do with or any where close to where the story is happening. How many times have we seen that same dairy cow from Britain in the last 2 weeks. That clip is years old and from across the ocean, and yet we have people believe its from next door.

While we may want to believe that the government and the "officials" are withholding information they rarely get the chance the truth will come out and any one who has dealt with the media knows tell them everything you know to be true as if you don't you will be caught sooner than later

24 hour news programs with no real news are a pain a time like this.

Should have found your case just as war started in Iraq!!!

We miss Princess Di at times like this she was always good on a quiet news day.

There is a GM debate going on over here at the moment. Perhaps you can see how GM the medias "Frankinsein food" and BSE because they have been folling a similar time scale here have become associated.

Most of the general public do not want GM here.

Media people certainly know they are stuffing their channels with old trash. However, if you can't be more creative in trying to impress the public with their "news", then they must resort to anything that is available at the time. Fortunately most viewers, both rural and urban, are aware of the shortcomings of TV programmers and are not changing their eating habits because of what they see and hear on TV. If you have noticed, the new SARS outbreak in Toronto has redirected the media away from cattle. Such is the short attention span of the TV media.
