F&W relocate elk to Northern Alberta

Can anybody on the message board give me some information about how AB Fish and Wildlife apparently moved elk from the Suffield military base to somewhere in northern Alberta.

When did this happen, where were they taken, how many elk?

I heard about some ranchers being upset with the elk in their hay stacks etc.... but didn't have the opportunity (yet) to get details.

Can't tell you about Northern Alberta, but farmers in Ontario are ever so grateful for the elk brought east from Alberta. Who'da thunk you could lose that much more money just because of one species of animal?
