Did anyone read the latest issue of the Western Producer? It had an interesting article concerning an alternative explanation for mad cow disease. From what I've read on this issue, the theory that copper deficiency in cattle is the culprit in mad cow makes a lot more sense than the prevailing wisdom. It would be tragic to find out that we've been barking up the wrong tree all along, wouldn't it? Here's the link for the article on line:
