Just visited the Japanese embassy website. Their official stance on BSE is there. http://www.ca.emb-japan.go.jp/BSEdoc.html
The cattle producers in Manitoba are suggesting that everyone send letters to the government outlining the problems we are facing as individuals. Apparently paper impresses the government. Perhaps a copy of these letters should go to the Japanese, and Americans.
A local fellow got a call from a bull buyer in the States this week saying he was ready to have his bull delivered to the States now. He had no idea that the border was closed. This was a cattle producer!
