The Abandonment Cost Estimate Hearing MH-001-2012 begins at the National Energy Board in Calgary on Tuesday October 30 2012.
This hearing is important for landowners that have Grade 1 NEB regulated pipelines on their Titled lands across the prairies. I will try to post the time table right below this post.
Pipeline companies of concern are Enbridge, Trans-Northern, Alliance, TCPL (transcanada), Kinder Morgan, Westcoast.
Intervenors are landowner associations and landowners from OPLA (ontario), MPLA (Manitoba), SAPL (Saskatchewan),CAEPLA.
ASRG--a very key date for expert witness on the panel representing the concerns of pipeline landowners is set for Monday Nov 5. MPLA who had some $$$ to put a big effort into this has expert legal counsel and expert witness panel of corrosion engineers to take the stand under oath and to allow the energy companies and the National Energy Board to Cross-examine them.
Closing oral arguments should proceed quite quickly on Tuesday Nov 6. All comments and statements will be on record.
Evidence was submitted by intervenors all summer meeting certain deadlines set out by the National Energy Board.
