Yes is old and it's iron so many of you on here
wouldn't want this unit. It is however a piece of
Canada's Agricultural livestock history. It doesn't
matter what you would pay..what's the value!

I wouldn't pay $250 for it (I don't think
Hammer Mills work well for cattle rations
anyway), but it is in nice shape. I bet
it sells for $2000.

I do agree SMC certainly not the best. A neighbor
and I going to throw a few bucks together to
Internet bid on it. I have peas, barley and oats that
I don't have a roller mill yet for. Going to make
some 4H rations add some rumensin. My best
guess is 4000$

Depends on several things like condition of the hammers, but my guess without knowing anything more about it, would be 2200-2500. Most of these old units are overpriced and I know of two down the road (International and a Farmhand) that could have been bought two years ago for scrap price. Actual list price at most dealers for this unit would be $4500 to $5000.

Years ago I nearly bought a 750 IH

Had a 359 for years and mounted a roller mill on it.
Worked really great. It was an early model so we also
converted the unload auger to an orbit motor. I don't
know about parts availability now but parts were
expensive. My guess is 2500$

Worth more if it has a big screen so you can put some hay in your ration; like me and the old man did in the 70's. And what's with that rumensin shit. Get those kids ready for natural 4H diets so we have cattle for our plant...LOL I'll say $2700.00

that's what I am going to do. We're you able to
check how well it rolled before it went into the mix
tank?

Allfarmer we had it done at lanigan sask I think it
was a new concept mill. It was a 30 inch mill. On
oats 25 minutes per load. They removed
hammermill and bale table. Yes there was an
inspection door to check the job it was doing. At
that time paid 5000 for the conversion. Hate to
ask now
