Minerals vs Trace Mineral Feeding

Does any one know where I can go or if there are any Western Canadian study results of feeding mineral as oppossed to trace mineral feeding?

There is reams of studies - every universsity research type seems to do their own. (Job creation) However all minerals need to be kept in balance and perspective. Both the major minerals and trace minerals. However the the real bottom line is that each soil zone and from farm to farm the available minerals are a little different. Therefore the supplement manufactures try to put together some (one shot does it all) type of program. Therefore you need to find out if you're area has any unique issues. For example some areas are known to be selenium defficient. I do know one thing for sure, the old addage that used to be preached by feed stores and their salesmaen was ("if the cattle don't eat it they don't need it") is just flat not true. Good Luck
