    Historical cow price?

Part of the Alberta cull program involves bringing the price you sell that cow or bull up to the"historical value". Now what is the historical value? Is it pre May 20th prices? Or is it the poor prices last fall when the market was flooded with cows?
Has anyone heard what the "historical price" is on cows and bulls or have they set a price yet?

Tells you in the mature scheme rules Cowman, Conditions 2.0 (2.11) "Ten year average - beef cows 50c/lb bulls 60c/lb"
Have you not submitted an application yet? ;0)

Well thank you grassfarmer! I did download the forms from the Alta. website but I never got around to applying(or actually reading them!)! I was sort of trying to figure out what was the best thing to do with a three year old bull!
My son and I have a joint venture deal so it can get fairly complicated(at least in my eyes!).
I've been doing the NISA garbage and the CAISA garbage in the last few days and I'm kind of overwhelmed with information! I read one thing and my accountant tells me another thing and I'm baffled! Sure was an easier world when you just sold them and cashed the check?
