    BSE only a feed issue?

I got to thinking(which is a rarity for me most days ha ha)about the relationship between BSE and chronic wasting disease.

They tell us that these two diseases are similar. What I was thinking is if these diseases are transmitted through feed then where are the wild animals eating a natural diet getting it from?

Has there ever been a documented case of BSE in an animal fed solely a forage diet its entire life?If so this would blow the theory of BSE being transmitted only from contaminated feed out of the water.

BSE would have had to originate somewhere to get into the meat meal to begin with. It's kind of a chicken or egg kind of deal.

Don't you know the US government was feeding it's wild deer population in Colorado in the 1960s with meat and bone meal?
This must be the case if we are to believe the crazy "contaminated feed" theories.

So how did these deer get CWD? How do the scientists explain it?

          Check out abcnews.go.com/sections/living/SecondOpinion/secondopinion010525.html.

It refers to a manganese connection, which scientists refuse to investigate. After all, they've already made up their minds.
