I got to thinking(which is a rarity for me most days ha ha)about the relationship between BSE and chronic wasting disease.
They tell us that these two diseases are similar. What I was thinking is if these diseases are transmitted through feed then where are the wild animals eating a natural diet getting it from?
Has there ever been a documented case of BSE in an animal fed solely a forage diet its entire life?If so this would blow the theory of BSE being transmitted only from contaminated feed out of the water.
BSE would have had to originate somewhere to get into the meat meal to begin with. It's kind of a chicken or egg kind of deal.
