I spoke of this in the bluetongue thread, but I think I should maybe start a new thread on the subject.

If we really mean it when we say we want this border opened, it's time to take some constructive action.

MAKE A COMMENT!

Click on the Veterinary services link. The border regulations are posted there, and the instructions on how to comment are there also.

If the U.S. government doesn't hear our side of the story, then it is assumed we don't care what they decide.

It's like the old voting thing.. if you don't vote, you have no right to complain. Tell all your neighbours and friends to comment as well. (They don't even have to have internet, the mailing address is there as well.)

Kato, I finally managed to send my comment in this morning after two days of trying. All the submit forms were being refused because of an internal error. I wonder if they are maybe set to default if you fill in "Canada" in the where from box ;o)?
Reading the American comments is a shock - these guys will be stunned if the border does open this year or ever.
I hope everyone else is having problems submitting their comments too and it's not just that once they finish talking to each other on this site they sit back and do nothing. Apathy rules once again - come on guys lets walk the talk for once.
