I am thinking that it is a job for an accountant. I guess I am old and feeble minded tried to fill a CFIP form out myself a few years ago, spent three weeks and fifty phone calls because I wasn't going to give then dam accountants any more of my hard earned money and finally just gave up and hired the accountant. Just my thoughts for what they are worth.

Carebear: I know how it is! It is a struggle to understand all these progrms and how it fits in with our life.
        Been there, done that!
I suspect you and I have travelled a similar road where we went from the good old days where we got our paycheck from the marketplace to where we fill out these endless forms for various government schemes. Hang in there old friend and don't let them beat you out of one nickel!

The forms Kato was talking about are the ones to apply for the money that was announced for the cattle.

Yup.. that's the one. I'm sure it'll be a lot shorter and sweeter than the CAIS program application.

The ruminant form is a one pager, enter the usual name address and business #'s etc. Then the hard part.......total # of each species, - breeding males over 1 yr of age, - females that have given birth at
least once = Total number of eligible animals.

All this as of DEC 23, 2003. I guess thats to be the day the "#$@ hit the fan south of the border.
