A county doing it right!

My local county has a very active Agricultural Services Board that is trying to do something for our farmers!
Next Friday, April 2,2004 they are having a seminar called "BEYOND BSE".
The speakers are impressive!
They have a couple of speakers who are going to talk about direct marketing from a personal perspective, as well as people who are going to talk about how to deal with the banker and how to keep from going insane during these stressful times!!!
Anne Dunford will be there to give her insights in to where this thing is going...the fact is you need to consider this seminar if at all possible!
Unfortunately I can't make it,due to prior committments, but by golly I made sure my son was going to go!

I sure hate to rain on your parade but as we all know there are as many opinions out there as there are people to express them and some will be right and some will be wrong just listen to Ralph for example and I dont think he knows what end the grass goes in but he sure knows who votes so he makes lots of noise and blames the feds and the yanks dependeng what side of the bed he gets up on I guess.

It's a shame it's taking place this time of year. I'd love to go but can't get away just now. These kind of meetings might just be popular this summer though - instead of the BSE meetings last year these could be seen as looking ahead, post BSE meetings.

I went to a very similar meeting in Hanna about a month ago. It was worth going to. Bottom line, the meeting helped people look beyond BSE to the future and that was very worthwhile.
