Has anybody ever thought of putting on a tour of some of the 'posters' operations-I think it would be kind of fun to see some of the stuff people talk about on here.

I suspect ditance might be a limiting factor, as well as a lack of funds for an adventure that doesn't involve family etc. Times are tough.
cs - If you or anyone else is interested in seeing our operation, you are more than welcome. We are about 20 minutes north of Calgary between the #2 hiway and the 2A hiway at Crossfield AB.
Formed a partnership with our best costomer and moved down to this showplace built with non agricultural money (not dope) about a year and a half ago. Would have been nice to start this partnership at a brighter time, but we are working hard to meet this adversity with positive action.

Great idea cswilson!
What could be better than visiting face-to-face with fellow ranchers and farmers. Also, it's a great learning technique. Look at the ranching for profit schools, where they match you up with guys who have different operations, which gives a different viewpoint on things. Seeing other peoples' methods and ways is very stimulating to get the brain thinking outside the box.
Count me in.
