I wonder why the senate hasn't called for an inquiry into the high price of fuel? I mean after all didn't they get right on the ball with the packers when they suspected they were ripping people off?
Of course over the years they have had a few inquiries about gas prices, but of course they always found in the end the oil companies were fine fellows just taking care of business and trying their best to be good citizens.
Now I think IBP/Cargill need to check in with Shell and Esso to realize that nothing bad will happen if they show the senate the books?
Why in the end they would probably get a glowing report about how much good they are doing for the Canadian public, by trying their best to keep prices in line and doing their civic duty?
This whole thing about not opening the books is a tempest in a teapot, done for politics and nothing else...I mean do you really need to spend millions on an inquiry to learn you got screwed? Especially when nothing will ever come of it anyway?
