    What happened to plan B?

Last year, about late July, some Albertan politicians were talking about Plan B. I believe if I remember correctly, it was what are we going to do if this problem isn't solved soon? Well close to one year later(and a big increase in cattle down on the farm) is it getting near the time for a plan B? Because I don't think plan A is really working all that well?
I really doubt much will happen on the federal level...they are too concerned with the election right now and I suspect if Martin doesn't do well in the election the knives will be out. Thus we'll have more scheming and posturing as the wantabees start jockying for position...in other words, business as usual!
But consider that Ralph Klein needs to go to the people in 2005 and if something doesn't change very soon there are going to be a whole lot of very unhappy campers out in the boonies? Which is where Ralphs real power base is? Maybe in the not too distant future he might be ready to listen and actually do something rather than bluster and dither? Maybe he will challenge the feds on testing or actually put up some money to build a plant or two? Who knows, he might even come up with some money for some trackhoes or buy some ammo!

The plan B is for the farmer or rancher to take care of him self.
We all know the answer is the cows belong to him. If he doesn't feed them and they starve he is in deep shit.
So he has two choices wolf food in the bush, quietly or sell they for less to get rid of the problem.

I told you last year the I got rid of my problem by selling them regardless of the price. But know I still have a problem because not to many other farmers sold them at the low prices and know their is 2 years worth of cull out their and I have one cull left that prolaps, I only had to put it back in three times before she calfed this year and problem solved, I may not be so lucky in 2005. So she goes regardless, they can only make money off of her once.
