Whether you agree with the hyperinfectious theory of BSE or not, would it not be nice to know what our government is doing to proove it.
Sent the following note to the CFIA a couple days ago with no reply so far.
Any other places you think we could go with this one.
"I would like someone to tell me about how the CFIA is experimenting to
proove the theory of BSE passing from one animal to another through
contaminated feed.
I have heard too many rumors about the CFIA simply following the way of the
government in the UK and not following up with experiments of their own. I
cannot beleive those stories, and want to hear how the work in this area by
the CFIA is going. About 200 cases of BSE occured in the UK this year,
making the infectious theory hard to fathom. Japan has found only a handful
of cases of BSE testing every animal. If this disease was transferable
through feed, they should be recognising hundreds of cases.
Please direct me to any available information on your ongoing study of this
rather puzzling theory of hyperinfection."
