Have any of you who put the pink set aside tags in heard or recieved any monies and what was the time frame?

Phoned in on Friday.They recognised that I had an application, and said the first cheques should be out by the end of November.

I suspect the whole scheme was designed to stall and dither until the border opened to bone-in meat? Now with the BSE garbage being played out in the US they might actually have to deliver?
Maybe us old cheapskates(Oh I meant "thrifty") will actually get a buck or two out of this retarded program?

You want to hear stalling? We don't even have access to the tags yet. The government of Manitoba in it's wisdom decided it needed red buttons. Of course Allflex doesn't make those, and had to import them. Therefore, no tags yet. If they stall long enough, they may not have to spend a cent, and look at all the good PR they got for their 'total support' of the cattle industry.
