Was pricing N this morning for purchase now and spring delivery and was quoted $410 Tonne on 46.0.0 and $375 on 34.0.0. They reckoned spring prices could be $40-60 a T higher. How do these prices sound to you all?

I did some checking on natural gas prices a year ago as compared to today as well as the value of the Canadian dollar. Based on that criteria the price of urea fertlizer should be little changed from last year. However it is well known that fertilizer is not priced according to cost of production but whatever the market will bear. If that holds true the price of fertilizer should actually decrease along with the value of grain. U.S. corn is about 20% cheaper than year ago.
