Good Morning,
I felt as we spoke about this seminar here I should update a recent development, Federal Minister Andy Mitchell's office informed our office yesterday he would not be attending,and offered no replacement. Great acountability huh? I will be writing him asking if this is his level of responsibility or if it was a staff decision. He isn't showing much regard for Alberta Producers is he?? He's not off to a very positive start as Ag. minister in my mind and I wonder what this bodes for the future.

Our apologies though apologizing for someone elses BS doesn't sit well with me.Reminds me why I prefer cows to politicians. Male cows are full of BS too but at least they serve a useful function.

Your statement reminded me of Bush when he came to visit. He refered to cows under the age of thirty months. I never heard of a male cow before.

YAh Randy I know but referencing male humans as bulls is tough too when I was trying to make the point I was.
Doug Horner attended and gave a good long talk of various things he is sure trying to appear "open" at this point to many ideas and thoughts. He doesn't have that "my way or no way attitude" we saw from the previous minister though I believe Shirley was both burnt out and listening at times to those that put their interests ahead of the industries and by that I mean all agriculture and not sector specific thinking. Sorry you didn't make the drive up #2 it was a very very informative day from what I know of you you would have got alot from it.

Have a good winter it seems to have found us .. I was getting used to only bedding once a week its not that way now.
