    How did it start

Have not the three cases of mad cow come from the same geographic area. This suggests to one, there is a common factor in this area that is prevalent in getting the disease. This is probably a case of feed made before the ban and fed after. If it’s not, do we start looking at environmental reasons or Mark Purdy theory. I remember on a couple occasions some many years ago, a wild moose exhibited signs of madness when all it would do is travel in a circle for days on end on exactly the same path in our wheat field. When conservation officers received autopsy they called it brain worm or something as there was holes in the brain. Now this was quite along time ago and I’m sure they have better diagnosis now. I also observed an wild elk doing much the same some years later. This suggests to me something was lacking or combination of environmental factors brought on this terrible disease. This disease had to start somehow with the environment and only man has brought it to where it is now.

When tracking symtoms of suspected cases of BSE it is necessary to compare the behavior of cows and wildlife of interest and liberal politicians. You will notice there is a great similairity. The only cure for all these cases is the same. The only alterative is let the crazy cows run the country, it would be better than those idiots we now have in Ottawa.

I think the industry does have to take some credit for the mess with BSE not so long ago it started to feed chicken manure to cattle and recicle feedlot manure to steers and any thing to get the cost of gain down just mabey if we would have stayed a little more traditional we would all be betteroff.
