Grazing cattle on public land in Alberta is generally a sweet heart deal. Now I know that isn't completely true in every case, but the fact is the public land ranchers cost the Alberta government a lot more than they pay into the pot. That is just a fact?
I wonder if the American ranchers also have such a good deal? What does it cost to run cattle on US public lands and do they also get their feet in the trough for oil/gas production, forestry, minerals etc.?
