Have a good Canada Day everyone. We've got our problems in this country but, despite everything our politicians throw at her, she's still a beautiful place to live, a safe place to raise a family and a rare part of the world where a rancher can stretch his or her legs, look at a big expanse of land with good cattle on it and feel good.

It's a good day to be thinking about what is right with this country.

And in 13 days, it will be quite an enjoyable sight to see fats with 'CDN' on their hips, rolling through the border.

It was beautiful spraying soybeans this morning, the local radio station had a 2 hour Stompin' Tom marathon. Plus he's coming to town in August.
