Emerald: Thought I better clarify that as Horse seems to think I should check out the other side! Still get a good chuckle out of his post? He is an ornery old bugger but he does come up with a good one every now and then! LOL

        Parsly;

        Unbeleivable!

For those who can't cut and paste... here is the jist of the article.

        "Guess who Bill Graham is?

He is a Member of Parliament and a former Law Professor at the University of Toronto who is notorious for having been involved in the gay sex trade. And he engaged in this activity as a married man with two children.

Lawrence Metherel, a former teen male prostitute, has long ago disclosed that he had a sexual relationship with Graham dating back to 1980, when Metherel was 15 years old. In a recent interview with a Canadian magazine, Metherel said that, for 15 years, Graham provided him with regular support payments of up to $1,500 a month.

Like how do you even take a guy like Graham seriously?"

This was reported back in 2002.

ANd today he is the leader of the CDN opposition!

        I had no clue.

No wonder we have a minority conservative gov.; that in itself should be considered a miracle!

now cowman, I after re-reading your post regarding the pantyhose, one could read into it that the only reason you would feel it was a good idea to have a woman around was to ensure that you had a good supply of pantyhose !!!!!!!!!!

and maybe a couple pairs of high heeled shoes.

Come on gang, we don't get much of a chance to jump on old cowman.

Can any one think of any other reason the old cow puncher should have a woman around?

Oh yeah cowpics, duct tape is the second best way to save those ears.

#1 is the willowcreek route but June is probably stretching it a bit. Don't see too many frozen ear days much past early April.

randy, he says he grew up in the 60's, but his knowledge and PIONEER spirit would indicate that he is at least as old as dirt !!!
Just kidding cowman, don't get mad, I appreciate all your comments, albeit the image I have of you is NOT in high heels and fishnet stockings !!!!!!

Well you just never know in this day and age! This movie "Brokeback Mountain" is getting all kinds of rave reviews? Kind of sad when the only westerns they make nowadays are about a couple of fruits! Sure makes me wonder what old John Wayne would say about that!
Now I notice this movie is about some American cowboys? I wonder if these were old R-CALF boys? Willowcreek...I sure hope you aren't involved! LOL

Emerald: I was a kid in the sixties and I sure think in many ways it was a good time to grow up?
My parents were both depression era people and they had quite a struggle getting started and raising six kids. My dad was a cripple from the war and farmed on crutches for three years before he could walk...still managed to make a couple of babies though!
I do believe hard times make hard people and while my times weren't hard, I think me and my sisters all benifitted from an attitude of thrift, hard work, never rely on the government, and do your duty to your fellow man.
I also note both my parents were strong western seperatists before the movement became popular!

Cowman, growing up in hard times never hurt anyone. I look at the kids that are bring brought up in times of affluence in this province today and wonder just how they will ever get by if things get tough here again.
