    cswilson: I'll tell you if these darned fuel prices don't ease up I'll be coming out to see you so you can show me how to handle a team of horses! LOL
    But anyway...You actually make a lot of sense on the Alberta-Saskatchewan thing? Quite a few Alberta farmers see Saskatchewan as a golden opportunity with very low land prices...as compared to here? When good farmland sells for $15,000 to $42,000(Richie Bros sale) a lot of guys lick their lips! The crappiest old pasture quarter in Alberta sells for around $150,000, so those prices look tempting...and despite rumors to the contrary...a lot of land in Alberta is really crappy! I wonder though if these new "immigrants" get a rude awakening once they've been there awhile?
    I have a friend who bought 9 quarters at Virden, Manitoba two years ago. He got a very cheap deal and thinks it was the best thing he ever did! He had a couple of young boys and wanted to give them some options...which they wouldn't have had in Alberta.
