    CWB October PRO Released today

The October Pool Return Outlook is out today. Improved US futures
prices but currency has taken most of this away. Suspect September PRO
was too high so I think the PRO should be down about $5 to $10 today.
Should actually go down more but I don't think the CWB will do it.

What are others guesses about the PRO?

My guess would be down $5 on the wheat, $15 on durum and $20 on malt.

I would say another 20 bucks a tonne to make up for that wonderful sale to saudi arabia. Since western canadian farmers are too stupid to do averages the cwb will figure they can pass this decrease off on currency, higher production of garbage wheat, and other charges like a graintesting lab etc.

Long and short of it is - the cwb has made some below pro sales which can only mean returns go lower.

Durum, Malting Barley Values Down in Latest CWB PRO
Winnipeg -- The CWB today released its latest Pool Return Outlook (PRO) for the 2009-10 crop year. Wheat values are unchanged from the September PRO. Milling durum is down $8 per tonne, while malting barley has dropped by $4 per tonne. Pool A feed barley is unchanged. Currency and commodity markets remain volatile, adding uncertainty to the forward outlook.
