They have started Phase II. And have money apportioned in their budgets. They roll a lot of it around. And also look for ways to download their promise on some unsuspecting fool.

Was there quite a lot of canola buying activity? Meal buying activity? Meal rejection? Soy buying? oil buying? Selling?

All activities go hand in hand with a big heavy mamma with a purse full of money. IMHO LOL

skhad, this is the true work of free trade, lie to protect your own interests. So nobody is realy telling the truth - case in point - flax - mustard - beef - pork - lumber, and now canola.
WTF is black shank anyway, if it is not blackleg I doubt that it even exsists - Never learned about that in University - or I slept through that class.

The combination of central planning/Communism and Capitalism: Commucapitalism, unique to China
will redefine both China and world trade. As the world comes to experience this force "eventually" may be a tad long for the individual to recon with. Which is why the national and international response will be a need for a coordianted global response team.

Our own national plan for diversificaiton of our product use, for addressing trade issues, and for internal policy to enable the individual producer to survive the surf is urgent as well.

The Chinese see a crisis and an opporunity as the same symbol. The opportunity for our industry is in biodiesel and increased crush.

interpretation of Chinese... mandarin I think.. is
              difficult.

Their word for leg translates into shank... a literal
              translation.... Bill

Compare to 2003 initial planning....and look at 2009 planning

You need to have a concept of where China started to get to where they are.

Farmers cannot market with assured continuous anticipation until you understand China's direction and needs.

They have a terrible population problem.

Biotech companies are working in China. Diligently.

Once their production revs up, ask yourself, can YOU compete with people living on an income of $500.00 per year?

Companies selling fert and seed will accumulate unimaginable wealth. Addiction planting.

The only area holding them back is the chinese want their food uncontaminated, and unmodified.

Chinese are very very good cooks and very very fussy about their food.
They are also exceedingly high IQ. and Chinese women are tested to be the most intelligent human beings in the world.

And they don't want to take any chances with their genes.

                  SO.

                  And that's a big SO.

I have never felt as a farmer, we could compete with quantity. China will have so much grain coming out their yingyang, it will spin your head. Cheap. Cheap labor. And especially with the land they are beginning to buy around the world.

But food quality, yes. Clean air. Clean water. Clean uncontaminated soil. Canada.

Maybe that provides a little background to organic reasoning. And yes ado, I know I shouldn't mention the 0 word.

So, now, you can legitimately assume I am quite mad. LOL

BUT: You know what to choose what is best for YOUR farm. Pars

                    BOO YAA!SK

The more people that finally see the light of the utter incompetence/selfishness of ALL political parties the better.

People who still vote blue are sheep.Dont sell the lesser of two evils crap.If i have to choose,i choose not to choose.

You were sold out and you took the bait hook, line and sinker.

Question is what do some of you do now?

Most will hang onto the little ridiculuos arguements that spin in their heads like-"we were in a minority what could we do" and "stephan is just biding his time to set things right".

And then...as time passes and ignatigoof takes power, you'll have a new/old enemy,he'll pull the same b@llsh%t as stephone but this time as your new blue leader rises and promisise you the basic things all citizens want you'll rally to his side and be disappointed again as he treats you like his heshe mistress. You wont even be lucky enough to get a kiss out of the whole tramitrizing ordeal and you wont want one because the whole cycle will begin again, like it has always done, and time will have erased the miserable memories of being treated like an alter boy.Go riders,Go ufc,the games are running full tilt, just like when rome burnt down.

Do you think its time that western canadian farmers get more teeth like the french farmers. It seems they get results.

The speeches these guys from our farm groups make have no consequences. Therefore nothing changes. Until we as a farming community get a leader that will unite us as a whole and put some teeth to the speeches we are all doomed. The peasants have to revolt.

Thanks Bill, I thought from pars translations that they referred to black shank and blackleg as something different. Either way it is still a crock.
