Just got drews forcast for the week nice in alberta for today east sask cloudy and cooler then look out showery cold shitty weather. What the hell is going on can we not get one break. Rained again last night but we did get to 60percent. Maybe the best is minus 15 to 20 and freeze the shit. But here is the funny thing if a indusrtry had a potential 1.4 billion loss comming on it would make national and international news. Were hours away from that reality but has anyone heard boo. Also where are the guys who say I am wrong about the loss that's their.Maybe we really are seening how close to the farm they are. Larrys latest email shows crop out in all areas in sask and from talking to guys in manitoba they aren't done yet either. Hang in their guys but this could be like 02 04 and now 09. Then pontop of the media BS were is joe farmer at the table with the china europe and USA BS with their GMO disease weeds BS. Its called protectionism and mafia mentality cut them off at the knees they will give it to us sooner or later. China and india don't play by our goody goody rules, and you ask why its because they don't need to worry about their own. Poor are Poor and they are workers. If some one over here doesn't soon figure this out we will all be worker bees with nothing at all left. But as a bright spot in all this BS we have great moisture for next years crop. HA HA HA oh crap my glasses fell off again, its raining.

You did get break, you were able to combine. Alot have not been able to move for close to four weeks now, other than run a test here and there. A huge area north and east of here is still below 50%.
There has been a slight change in our forcast here, but I fear it is too little too late - time will tell. We need 2 - 3 days of 15-20 with wind just to dry the swaths here now so this crap will even test. Even if it freezes I am not sure what to do, can not even get a reading on the moisture tester - above 18% I would guess? That was before anouther sloppy night last night.

You know what I mean this was the first time this month we were able to go. The local terminal is now plugged drying canola. Simply its a shitty harvest real shitty. ONE guy hasen't started in our area. Most at 60 percent. Ugly ugly. But why no coverage with such a potential huge loss, then add the games that are going on it the grain trade with BS. Useless gov beurocrats that are suppose to look out for us on world issues and then don't let us attend a conference call on the issues. Its all BS and its getting deeper. One other question were told as farmers that we really don't effect the world trade in grains so why do we get creamed by americans on beef pork and canola meal, or china on canola and black leg are they replanting the seeds (yea they buy feed barley that some how is turned into beer) and the europe on GMO seed in our Flax. Politicians who can't see the game that's going on and sadly farmers who can't see what's happening to us.

"who can't see what's happening to us."

Oh yes, they see too well.

It's just that farmers are traded off for something more valuable, because farmers do not argue or raise a fuss.

Fire people in your farmer associations if they are useless.

I'm sure with shape the feds are in they are not really wanting to jump up and down declaring an emergency... At least until they are convinced there is a crisis. As far as the general public goes, I don't think they are going to feel to sorry for us farmers who have had it pretty good through the economic crisis. Lets just hope we get some nice weather yet. Besides what could they do for you today to make anything better.

No, but they could not defend free trade and supply management at the same trading table, as they were doing, as internationally, they looked ridiculous.

            So they caved.

They promised me freedom of choice for wheat and barley marketing last time I voted. Remember?

Same old same old, go for the votes. We have too few votes. Ya I read last Producer and not a mention of the shitty weather and $1.4B in crop rotting in fields! If you ignore it it goes away. Don't depress the farmer just in case he quits growing our food at a loss.
